Robert Spade
Originally cast as a Traditional Dancer in the film, once we heard Robert’s music we knew we had found the composer for the film and rushed to record him. He is currently working on his first album. In addition to being a world-class singer/songwriter, traditional dancer, and traditional drummer, Robert is also a gifted painter. His work can be found on the poster and cover of the other FNI project, “Sharing Tebwewin”. Robert Spade has accepted a position on the Board of Directors of the First Nation Initiative and spends his days doing cultural programming in schools with the Urban Aboriginal Strategy.
