Kelly Saxberg is a filmmaker who directs, shoots and edits her own films in English, French and Spanish. In 2008 she will direct six-one hour French language documentaries on Canadian international development entitled "Citoyen du Monde" for Le Productions Rivard and TFO. Last year she premiered “Dorothea Mitchell: A Reel Pioneer” at the Bay Street Film festival. It now airs on Bravo. "Letters from Karelia," her first feature length documentary about Canadians who moved to the Soviet Union was nominated for Best documentary at the 2006 Gemini awards.

In 2005 and 2006, she also directed the one hour French and English documentary "Voyageurs Legacy: Our Story / Le printemps des voyageurs: La Genèse" for Les Productions Rivard and TFO. Her other film credits are "Banana Split" which won the "Best Feature Length Documentary" at the Latin America Environmental Media Festival in New Orleans, and it was also the 2004 winner of the Canadian International Development Agency's Deborah Fletcher Award of Excellence in Filmmaking on International Development.

Kelly co-directed "Rosies of the North," (1999), with Ron Harpelle, a one-hour National Film Board production that tells the story of North America’s first woman aeronautical engineer and the women who built Hurricane and Helldiver airplanes during World War Two.
