Candace Twance

Candace Twance is an Ojibwe from the Pic Mobert First Nation. She was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She is currently attending Lakehead University in the Visual Art Program. She is primarily a painter, and her works have been exhibited in numerous settings.
Candace has always felt the need to express herself artistically, and can see the importance of creative expression in her life. She is inspired by nature and considers painting an extension of her spiritual journey.
As a young girl she was involved in various theatre productions. She is also a singer, song-writer and guitarist.
