Brittany Angeconeb

Sure to be a future leader, Brittany was only 15 years old when she played the lead role of Kaitlyn in the film. Born in Sioux Lookout, she is a member of Bearskin Lake First Nation who currently lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
She currently attends Hillcrest High School and is very active in volleyball, cross-country running and hockey. She loves to spend time with family and friends, learning new things and meeting new people.
Brittany is a 2006 North American Indigenous Games medalist and was awarded the Keewaywin Award for Youth Leadership and Community Involvement in 2007. Among her goals are to learn her Native language, complete high school, compete again in next year's North American Indigenous Games and acquire another acting gig. When she makes up her mind to do something, she doesn't let obstacles get in her way and keeps pushing on until she has accomplished her goals.
