Brent is an excellent example of the resiliency and determination of Anishinawbe youth. Coming from a rough start, he worked hard along with his brother Jake to become a traditional drummer and has traveled extensively with the ‘Little Bear Singers’. He also rose to the occasion as an important part of “Seeking Bimaadiziiwin” delivering a dynamite performance as ‘James’ and adding his own flair to the story. Brent has plans to further his education and become a social worker.
